Iranian and Egyptian Nationals Apprehended Crossing U.S. Southern Border

– U.S. Border Patrol agents have reported the arrest of six migrants attempting to cross the southern U.S. border.

On Monday, Jan. 6, U.S. Border Patrol Chief Jason Owens announced that four Iranian nationals and two Egyptian nationals were apprehended near El Paso, Texas, while attempting to enter the United States illegally.

The migrants, categorized as "special interest" individuals, were found to have records of prior attempts to illegally enter the U.S. However, details regarding the circumstances of their previous entries, as well as their personal or potential criminal histories, remain unclear at this time.
